![]() Dr. Armstrong received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Princeton University and her M.D. degree from Northwestern University. She completed a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the National Institutes of Health. In 2006 Dr. Armstrong received a master’s degree in Health Science and Clinical Research from Duke University. Prior to joining the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development she was Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. She is currently on staff at NIH. Human Development, NIH. She holds the rank of Professor at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Her work was selected for presentation at the 2009 NIH Juried Art Show and was featured in a Silent Auction at a cancer benefit: Spreading the Word : An Irish Celebration June 23rd 2010. Her work has also been featured in the “Painting the Town” Art Show Kensington MD September 2010 and the National Naval Medical Center Breast Cancer Art Show October 2010. Her work was featured at a Montgomery Art Association Exhibit at Wheaton Mall in December 2010.
